The Bergerac Wine Tasting and Terroir Tour

The wines from the Bergerac region are of a high quality and mostly carry the predicate appelation d’origine controlée.
Famous wines are Bergerac, Côtes de Bergerac, Monbazillac, Montravel, Pécharmant, Rosette and Saussignac.
The wine tour offers you a lively journey through this world of wine and everything related to it.
You are picked up between 9.30 am and 10 am at Les Magnolias.
The tour starts with a visit to world famous wine Château including a walk through its vineyard, receiving information about the terroir and production, followed by a wine tasting session,  the dégustaion.
Next is a home made alfresco lunch overlooking the majestic Eymet vineyards.
The food will be  served with a local red, rosé wine, white wine and coffee. During a engaging tour at a local co-op, you will receive an explanation of the production process from grape to bottle. Here you will visit the cellars with artisan-made wine barrels and of course the pressoir where the freshly picked grapes are squeezed into juice.
This CO-OP too is proud of its organically produced wines, which you can tast afterwards. Thereupon a visit to a local food producing farm is on the program. Finally, between 5 pm and 6 pm,  you will be dropped off at to Les Magnolias.

Our package includes:

  • at least 2 nights at Les Magnolias including breakfast.
  • Wine tasting for € 80. – per person. Children are welcome – for € 45 per person. (under 15 years)

Period: June to October.

Price: depending on number of nights booked and number of people  for the tour.
This tour can only take place from mon-friday, it can’t  be booked during the weekend.
