Recently we, Tom and Sieta Plantinga, may call ourselves the happy owners of Les Magnolias.
After a thorough orientation and search of two years throughout France, we found our spot “in the Dordogne. In September 2015 we settled here permanently.
The beautiful location on the outskirts of Lalinde with all amenities within walking distance, the overwhelming view of the river with it’s ever-changing water, the presence of the large park garden, the swimming pool (17 x 7 m) overlooking the river surrounded by palm and olive trees and the 400-meter riverside makes this for us a unique location. We want to offer our guests a pleasant stay at Les Magnolias. Not only as a central base to explore the region, but also to relax and totally unwind.
The original living quarters on the second floor of the Maison de Maître has recently been rebuilt and refurbished into four tastefully decorated rooms. On the top floor the interior is thoroughly renovated into a living cum dining room, nicely decorated, to create a place where guests can feel themselves completely at home. Here you can enjoy peace and privacy of a well deserved holiday.
The roots of the owners of Les Magnolias are in the Netherlands.
